My public sector client are looking for a Digital Communications Officer on a temporary basis for the next 5 months initially. This is a remote working role with the occasional travel into the Cardiff office.

Office base - Cardiff

Salary - £16-17 per hour (£28-31k annual salary equivalent)

Duration - Temporary for 5 months initially

Hours – 35 per week, Monday to Friday

Job Purpose

Reporting into the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for the development and promotion of the organisations web presence.

Key Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Lead on developing and managing continuous improvements to the Organisations public-facing website, staff intranet and other digital platforms
• Production and editing of content for the organisation’s digital channels
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines for staff to develop content
• Increasing traffic and use of the website via use of SEO techniques
• Contribute to the implementation of a digital communication and engagement strategy.
• Work alongside the wider Communications team on different projects/campaigns
